We get asked quite a few questions. Here are some of them
that we can answer.
Where are your offices located?
We're in Naperville, Illinois, about 30 miles west of the
Chicago Loop.
Do you only work with companies in the
Chicago area?
Not at all. One of the advantages of being in the Chicago
area is how easy it is to get to other parts of the country.
O'Hare and Midway Airports make travel pretty easy, allowing
us to see clients in all parts of the country.
How
do you feel about traveling these days?
Getting
there is less enjoyable than it used to be, but being there is
just as much fun. We always enjoy meeting new people and
seeing new places. If it weren't for this business
travel, we wouldn't know how much we enjoy places as different
as Altoona, PA and Ruidoso, NM and Salina, KS and San Juan,
PR.
How do we know whether we can afford your services?
Ask us. If we could, we'd quote prices right
here on the website. The problem is that every situation
is different and, therefore, will have a different price
tag. Before we go to work for you, however, you will
have a very good idea of the cost and what you will get for
that cost. We'll also help with the budgeting, so you'll
have a pretty good idea of whether or not you can really
afford our services.
How did you come up with the name "interconnection:eastman?"
Glad you asked. Some of it had to do with all the
connections we had in the area. Mostly, though, it comes from
a concept in the Douglas Adams book, Dirk Gently's Holistic
Detective Agency, "the interconnectedness of all
things." Douglas Adams also wrote the series known
as The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy, and we are
looking forward to the movie version of that series, which is
in some stage of production now.
Who is Jack Eastman and why should I rely
on him for marketing help?
Short version: Thirty years experience include years with
The Bank of Wisconsin and The First National Bank of Chicago
(First Chicago). Graduate of the BMA School of Bank Marketing
and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI.
Started interconnection:eastman in 1995 after leaving
First Chicago NBD following the merger. Is known for having a
slightly different (some say "twisted") view of
things. Detests the phrase, "because that's the way
we've always done it." Lives by the motto, "If
you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong."
