Hire an offsite sales manager and coach.
We interview your sales people; help them build a personal
marketing plan; and work with them on a regular basis to
achieve that plan.
This works especially well for trust officers and
lenders--even better when they are in the program together.
It creates an excellent mechanism to help each sell the
other's products.
We'll work with your staff on site or at a neutral
location--whatever it takes to create a non-threatening
environment for success. The fact that we are an
independent third party makes us appear less threatening and
more helpful. After all, we do not appear in their
reporting line or control their salaries.
Depending upon your timetable for improvement, we can meet
once each month or every other month. Regardless, in the
interim, we conduct regular "touch-base" phone calls
to make certain that no one loses track of the importance of
sales.
Personal coaching gives good people a fighting chance to be
good sales people. Don't write off a good employee just
because they haven't had an opportunity to experience what it
takes to succeed in sales.
